Gears of War 2: More Emotionally Affecting than Bioshock

In an interview with OXM U.K., voice actor Carlos Ferro, who personifies Dominic Santiago, says the story of Gears of War 2 will be "more emotionally affecting than Bioshock."

"Beyond it," Ferro says. "I said it. It's going to be more emotionally effecting than Bioshock. A lot happens."

Hopefully that will convince New Line Cinema to finally green light the big screen adaptation of Gears of War. 2K Games already reached an agreement for BioShock to be developed as a feature film by Universal Pictures, with Gore Verbinski, director of the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, slated to direct and produce the movie and John Logan, Academy Award-nominated writer of Gladiator, The Aviator and Sweeney Todd, in talks to write the screenplay.
